Memebers of the ensemble comprise selected seminarians of different years at the Archbishopric Seminary in Poznań, who are at the same time students at the Theological Faculty of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (ministry course). Gregorian chant, religious polyphonic pieces and church hymns form the core of the schola cantorum's repertoire. The ensemble's performances grace liturgy and accompany important ceremonies and events in the seminary, in the Archcathedral Basilica, at the AMU Theological Faculty as well as during weekly Latin Mass in the seminary chapel. The schola cantorum's musical instructor is Fr. Mariusz Białkowski, Ph.D., lecturer at the Academy of Music, who oversees singing in the Seminary and is also the organist coordinator in the Poznań archdiocese. During Universitas Cantat, Inclina Aurem will present a programme in the form of an oratorio. The main theme of the concert is “Faith, Hope, Charity – Music”. Music is thus a tool for expressing virtues.
