Bartłomiej Sutt was born on 14 October 1998 in Gdańsk. His musical career began at the age of 7 and since then music has become an indispensable part of his life.
After 12 years of education at the Feliks Nowowiejski Primary and Secondary Music School in Gdansk under the guidance of his professor, and father at the same time, prof. dr. hab. Piotr Sutt. Thanks to the Gabriel Daniel Fahrenheit Scholarship of the Mayor of Gdańsk, Bartłomiej continued his musical education at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in the class of Professor Gert Mortensen. Thanks to the Erasmus programme, after 2 years in Copenhagen Bartłomiej went to Strasbourg to spend a full year studying under the tutelage of one of the most renowned percussionists of our time, Prof. Emmanuel Séjourné, at the Haute École des Arts du Rhin Strasbourg. Since October 2020, Bartłomiej Sutt has been a student at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the class of dr.hab. Miłosz Pękala.
Thanks to his numerous achievements at competitions, festivals and his concert performances in Poland and abroad, he has been honoured with scholarships such as:

• Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage "Młoda Polska"
• Gabriel Daniel Fahrenheit Scholarship of the Mayor of Gdańsk
• Gdańsk Artistic Scholarship "Młody Gdańszczanin".

Grand prix as well as awards and prizes at international competitions have given him the opportunity to work with many artists and composers such as: les Percussions de Strasbourg, Anders Astrand, Prof. Emmanuel Séjourné, Prof. John H. Beck, Piotr Komorowski, Kirsten Milenko, Bohdan Riemer and Prof. John Wooton. As a young artist, he is committed to learning about and keeping up to date with trends in music, which is why he takes part in contemporary music festivals such as PULSAR and the NEW MUSIC Contemporary Music Festival, thus actively supporting the development of contemporary music, without which our musical world would have no chance of further development.
